Salford’s 56 Series Applicators are your versatile partners in farming, now enhanced with the NEW 5056N and 7056N granular applicators. The “N” in 56N means “Narrow”, fitting perfectly on Salford’s HALO narrow folding tillage tools. The 56N maintains the accuracy and reliability of Salford cover crop seeders; while simplifying air line routing, boosting air flow, and improving material distribution for narrow folding tillage implements. The 56N goes where you go, boosts your efficiency and helps improve soil health.
NARROW HOPPER
56N models have been designed to fit onto the frame of Salford’s HALO narrow folding tillage implements. Along with being narrow enough to fit onto the HALO frame, the 5056N has a 50 cubic foot capacity, and the 7056N has a 70 cubic foot capacity. The hopper sizes are designed to pair with HALO models to minimize the time between fills. The 56N models have large hopper openings for faster filling. The large opening also provides easy access, should maintenance be required inside the hopper. The steel bin screens are designed for fast filling, while prevent large clumps of fertilizer and foreign material from being fed into the system. Sight windows near the top and bottom on each side of the hopper allow the operator to see when the bin is full and when it is nearly empty. An operator platform with a folding and locking ladder gives the operator safe and easy access to the hopper.
ISO CONTROLS, SCV HOOK-UP, BIN LEVEL SENSOR
The 56N Series is controlled with an ISOBUS connection, designed to run with existing virtual terminals in the tractor. This allows for left/right section control and rate adjustment. This unit uses only one hydraulic remote to power the metering system and fan. The lines feature color coded hose grips to help align the connections with the operators preferred SCV. The 56N Series is equipped with a bin level sensor to alert the operator when the hopper is almost out of material.
METERING ROLLER OPTIONS
The 56N Series can be equipped with a 12 groove grey metering roller, or a 28 groove red metering roller. The 12 groove roller accurately meters for higher rates or larger seeds, while the 28 groove metering roller is designed for lower rates or smaller seed.
