6200-008 Twister Short Poly Ring 6200 Twister Closing Wheel

The 6200-008 Twister Short Poly Ring is designed for shallow-planted crops. It can replace the rubber ring on John Deere, White, and newer Kinze planters.

 

Features

  • Kit includes 2 short poly spike rings that are compatible with factory 1" x 12" closing wheel assemblies
  • Utilizes 1" twisted poly spikes and a rounded center to close the planter disc opening
  • Designed specially for shallow-planted crops like sugar beets, cotton, and canola
  • Wheel is bi-directional
  • Can run as a pair of spikes or in conjunction with a factory-style rubber wheel
  • Improves seed trench closure, even in the most severe conditions
  • Enhances seed-to-soil contact and helps prevent yield-robbing air pockets
  • Eliminates potential for sidewall compaction
